The tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

The internet is like the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.   Thus, the reader is to beware!!   In other words, check for yourself to see if the things you see here are true or not.

When studying a weekly parsha, a portion of scripture from the Torah from the first five books of  the Creator's holy scripture, I came to the portion called “Shelach,” which is the story about the ten spies (Numbers 13:1-15:41).   In verse 13:22, the Torah states “They ascended in the south and he arrived at Hebron…,” and that drove me crazy.   It was obvious that the “they” and the “he” were not together.   When I subsequently went to “The Holy Land,” I was determined to see what “he” (Caleb) saw .

This is why I have adopted the “look and learn” concept for studying Scripture.    When I got to Hebron, I looked and I saw the tomb of Machpelah; the tomb of the Patriarchs.  It occurred to me that The destiny of Caleb was to “pray” at the resting place of Abraham and Sarah, the seed of the Nation and I learned what Moses wanted all of the spies to learn and do; To see where they came from and to pray for their own success. I looked and learned

This site is a collection of articles and stories of my 40 years in the study of Torah, along my road to Hevron, all the while, walking with my Creator.
